Cooperation with the Youth Church (Evangelical Children- and Youth)
In youth church in Speckweg place in January 2012 every Wednesday from 12.30 Clock up 14.30 The so-called “Wednesday table” for schoolchildren from the north of Mannheim, u.a. from the Waldhof- Primary school and the Johannes-Gutenberg-school place.
Offered be next to a hot lunch varied game- and craft deals, which are used by many children of the two schools in claim. In part, siblings and parents to come up with. Teachers assist in the weekly change action.
The evangelical children- Youth and manages the whole thing very involved with many volunteer helpers, which are also at the annual Children Vesperkirche in December with it. The “Wednesday table” arose from this campaign.
We are very happy about the intensive cooperation with the staff of the youth church, which, in addition to the “Wednesday table”, also include experiential educational offers and a music project.
This allows the Johannes Gutenberg School, to expand their offers for the pupils into another afternoon.
